SUMMARY:Japan – Masks of yourself
DESCRIPTION:This exhibition took place on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Belgium and Japan. \nThe objects on display belonged to the collections of the Museum\, to Benoît de Spoelberch\, a private collector\, to the Royal Museum of Art and History as well as to the Musical Instruments Museum in Brussels. \nMasks and many other objects on display (puppets\, prints\, instruments) showed the sense and the meaning of Japanese masking traditions. \n
